Armchair and Blog-Intros
The armchair is a piece of furniture that is popular in many homes. It is typically a chair with a high back that is designed for comfort and relaxation. Armchairs come in various styles, from traditional to modern, and they can be used in different rooms of the house, including the living room and the bedroom.
On the other hand, blog-intros are the introduction paragraph or section of a blog post. They are crucial for capturing the reader's attention and convincing them to read further. Blog-intros should be engaging, informative, and concise, and they should provide a clear idea of what the blog post is all about.
Some people might wonder what the connection between armchairs and blog-intros is. Well, one possible link is that both armchairs and blog-intros can help you relax and unwind. Just as you can sink into an armchair and forget about the stresses of the day, a well-crafted blog-intro can transport you into a different world and give you a mental break from your busy routine.
So, whether you're curling up in your favorite armchair or browsing the latest blog post, take a moment to appreciate the power of a good intro. It can make all the difference in your mood and mindset.
That's based on some initial parameters. For example, if the clothes are scattered all about, then inertia plays a key role. However, if some initial preparation has been performed, say gathering the clothes and sorting them by colour, then I would argue that friction or air resistance is the more crucial factor. Still further, if the clothes have been operating in the washer but not been put in the dryer, then some non-elastic collisions are the likely culprits. Finally, if the clothes have been in the dryer but not ironed and/or folded, then the addition of heat would suggest a loss of useful work due to an increase in entropy. There is another explanation, but since it falls outside of the pervue of physics, I will let someone else handle that aspect.
1. As an armchair General, would you have disobeyed Hitler and broke out of Stalingrad in second half of 1942?
No way. Probably the best of German generals, Manstein, argued strongly against a breakout. He pointed out that 6th army tied down massive soviet forces surrounding it near the volga. If it broke out, the soviet armies would be released and might head for Rostov on the Don, trapping army group A as well as B, and leading to loss of the war. Under the circumstances the only option was relief, but it failed. Sixth was lost but Manstein still managed to prevent a greater disaster. Had I been Paulus, I would not have tried to break out.
2. What is the difference between a theoretical physicist and an armchair physicist?
A theoretical physicist has his/her reputation to sustain. That means only a minimum of absolute speculation; a minimum of ideas that are not testable. An armchair physicist gets attention by being outrageous, highly speculative. He/she claims to be thinking way "out of the box". In fact, such speculation is usually avoided by the serious physicist, because in the past, such lack of discipline has almost never led anywhere. Physics is a tough discipline in which you are generally building on the prior results of others. If you are not intimately familiar with the literature, you are very unlikely to contribute to progress. The great theorist knows all that came before, and recognizes when true out-of-the-box thinking can be productive
3. Real Military people (not the fake armchair warriors posting in this section)?
I would have preferred to be under Bradley or Roosevelt Jr
4. Armchair theatre poll Tv Soccer match or Cricket match.?
aye! cricket fer me too matey! yo ho ho! :D
5. my uncle pees in his armchair all the time please what can i say to get it through it's GROSS?
He should be wearing and Adult diaper if he can not control his bladder. Failing that, put his armchair on a dolly, and wheel him outside on the porch or the backyard and spread some sawdust around him explaining that if he wants to be like a barnyard animal, then he will be treated like one. I know that sounds a little harsh, but if he is not going to care for himself, you might want to consider sending him to a care facility, as clearly he can not care for himself.
6. How do you draw an armchair?
I think I know why. You have to imagine yourself about to sit in the armchair, sitting in the armchair, and leaving the armchair. Once you have done this, drawing the armchair will become easier because you will remember all the parts of the armchair(especially the important ones). I had a professor in art college obsessed with chairs. We had to draw them, construct them, photograph them, etc. By putting yourself in the chair and then drawing it, you become familiar with the chair as stage design. The chair has the potential to become an integral element in the play.
7. For the armchair poli-scientists: Was Bill Clinton the best (ie: least worse) modern democratic president....
I am confused small d or big D democratic? Small d no way. Big D still no. He really did nothing besides sign legislation that the Republican Congress passed. If he vetoed anything they would have overridden it anyway. He was essentially a rubber stamp for the Republican agenda. Was not NAFTA under Bush senior?
An armchair is an essential piece of furniture that is commonly used for relaxation, reading, or watching TV. It is typically designed with a comfortable backrest and cushions, and in some cases, it may also recline for added comfort. Many people consider their armchair to be one of the most comfortable spots in their home.
On the other hand, a blog-conclusion is the final section of a blog post, where the author sums up the main points they have discussed in the article. It is an excellent opportunity for the blogger to leave a lasting impression on the reader, share their opinion or ask for feedback.
Interestingly, the armchair and blog-conclusion have a lot in common. Just like how an armchair provides comfort and relaxation, a well-crafted blog conclusion should leave the reader feeling satisfied and comfortable. It should summarize the article's key takeaways, provide a strong closing statement, and even incite the reader to take action.
In conclusion, an armchair and blog-conclusion may seem unrelated at first glance, but they both serve a similar purpose of providing comfort and relaxation. Just as an armchair can make you feel at ease while reading a book, a well-written blog conclusion can leave a lasting impression on the reader.
